Unique Eats Cajun Cocktail Party & Book Launch

The Original Heaven on Seven on Wabash, the authentic, critically acclaimed Cajun restaurant of chef/owner Jimmy Bannos, hosts the launch of Unique Eats & Eateries of Chicago,  the new book from Chicago author and food writer, Matt Kirouac with a Cajun Cocktail Party on Sept 13th from 5:30-8 p.m.

Unique Eats & Eateries of Chicago is a love letter to the city's multifaceted food scene. From timeworn delis, sandwich shops and restaurants, to game-changing fine dining institutions, quaint bakeries and taquerias, the book explores the history and back story of Chicago's most colorful and enduring establishments. 

Author Matt Kirouac is a Chicago-based food and travel writer, editor and author. His first book, The Hunt Guides: Chicago, came out in 2016, he is thrilled to launch his next book, Unique Eats & Eateries of Chicago at Heaven on Seven a restaurant featured in the book and on its cover.

TICKETS:
All tickets include passed appetizers from Heaven on Seven & The Purple Pig, hurricanes, beer and wine.

Tickets are $45 per person (with a signed copy of the book) or $25 (without the book) and can be purchased here. Reservations are required. 

Additional books will be available for sale on the night of the event for $25.
